The Beginning Of Mad Men
So I finally started watching the television series Mad Men… Unbelievable. Amazing. Fantastic. And I am only 2 episodes in, I can only imagine how much better it is going to get. Honestly, I am annoyed that it took me this long to start watching. I highly recommend giving it a chance… I think you will fall in love.
The selected track, the opening song for Mad Men of course.

Yay! Don’t dwell on coming late to the party. It’s always better to be fashionably late than to not show up at all! Welcome from a fellow Maddict!
i’m jealous that you still have it all ahead of you and aren’t waiting until summer to get a fix again like the rest of us! it’s glorious – like watching and amazing movie every episode. enjoy!
it’s quite a ride, isn’t it? So much happens, and the show has been excellent all along, but ssn 1 was my favorite. You will love it.
I think it’s extra special for me because my folks were the age of Don and Betty back then, and If I was the same age as Sally. It’s like watching my life unfold (but I had better parents!)
Sorry. Typed that out on iPhone! Too many typos.
I’ll just add to what Nat had to say, and say….. FREE SALLY!!!
I started the series last year and one day I rented and watched an entire season! I just couldn’t stop. Such sharp humor and intriguing characters. So much going on that you almost need to watch every episode twice.
Just hearing the theme song makes me want to watch right now!
I am so glad I am part of the club! ;-)
Rather coincidentally, we started watching it on Monday night. Now 4 episodes in and I’m hooked.
I am getting my second disc in the mail tomorrow… I can hardly wait.
Oh Rachel,
Mad Men is my FAVORITE SHOW IN THE WORLD!!! My hubby and I went as Don and Betty for Halloween two years ago ;) http://gailwernerblog.com/a-very-mad-men-halloween-indeed/
Wait ’til Season 4. The episode titled “The Suitcase” is the best 60 minutes I’ve EVER seen on TV. EVER.
Oh my goodness! Those costumes are perfection. Love it!
