Welcome back! I took a little holiday and it was fantastic. The hiatus from the blog was no hiatus from the music, I have been working on my year end list(s)… A lot of decisions need to be made and I am the most indecisive person I know. This posses a bit of struggle when I am trying to put together a list. It is a challenge, but I love a good challenge.

I recently came across a band fronted by Irishman Conor J. O’Brien. They create dark folk melodies with bizarre poetic lyrics. We should take note, Villagers is an upcoming band that I am certain we will hear more from them in the future.

    Welcome back.

I couldn’t get into this album. I mean, it’s not bad, it’s just not great.

Actually, there’s been a few albums this year that I could describe like that!

I just came across them. This is by far my favorite song from the album. And I completely agree, it is an OK first effort.
