Yeah… So I am not a Twilight fan, I haven’t read any of the books nor will I ever see any of the movies. Just not my thing… However, the Soundtrack is quite brilliant, like finding gold. It was not on my year end list as I have never really considered any past years Soundtracks to make the cut (although it might be a nice extension to next years year end lists). Anyways this album is jam packed with some indie heavy hitters (I sound like a sports caster). Lykke Li, Anya Marina, The Killers, Grizzly Bear, Thom Yorke, Bon Iver and I can go on and on. I don’t even know where to start to be honest, there are so many wonderful tracks but considering it was Lykke Li’s Birthday today why don’t we start there. This song will haunt you in only the best way.

Weather Update: On my way home from work I saw a dense marine layer begin to roll in with all of it’s glory and I smiled. Cold and crisp is just the way I like my weather.

So much good music in such a bad, bad movie.

I have unfortunately seen both movies and concur that Kyle has summed it up both succinctly and accurately!

Going to check this out. I need some new music and realized I hadn’t been here in awhile. Thought I would stop by and say hola. Hope you’re well.

I was a Twilight hold out, but when I finally read the first book I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The movies both had excellent soundtracks. I also confess that I enjoyed them. Lovely song you chose to post. (I’m kind of soft on the Grizzly Bear and Muse tracks, too)

Good to hear from you Bentley, I hope all is well with you and your family.Hope you can find some new music that you enjoy and inspires you as you work and live life. :-)

Tricia, I heard the books are actually well done and even my best friend couldn’t resist… Maybe I will eventually check out the books, for the good of reading.

Oh, I like the Killers too! How exciting that I’m actually familiar with something you young people are listening to!

I saw that marine layer rolling in the other night, it was so dark and heavy it was kind of freaky, wasn’t it?

HAHA Whoo Hoo! We should go to a concert sometime. :-)

To most people it is kind of freaky… To me it is beautiful… I suppose I am the freak. hehe
