   “she is crazy but i love her” — that pretty much describes 90% of all mom / daughter relationships, i think! i hope it all goes well. : )

   They started late so she is still in surgery right now, she should be out soon.

   Oh, by the way, we went to the Doheny Blues Festival last weekend, and heard the most amazing singer, I think you’d like her even if you don’t love the blues. Her name is Ruthie Foster. I won’t put in any links, but a search on YouTube found several videos. Another amazing voice that doesn’t need a lot of production value.

   My mom just had surgery on her foot last Monday =)

   Hey hey, just popping in to see how your mom is. With you for a daughter I’m sure she’s been through enough already.,,lol. Just kidding, you know I’m serious only 11% of the time.     I picked Laswell’s CD up a couple of months ago, and you are right on the money. This is just good stuff, soothing, interesting, subtle. Seems like a good choice for you on a tense night.
