And I am so, so lazy…Quiet and contemplative… All I want to do is just put on some music and bring out a good book or the last issue of Paste Magazine and chill.

Brendan Canning shows us that he can hold his own with a groovy well composed solo album much like his other band mates have done. A respectable solo debut that contains a few stand out tracks that have made it onto the iPod for some shuffle love. Hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend. I am sharing two of the more mellow tracks on the album that are befitting for my mood, but he does get funky don’t you worry. ;-)

I agree I like it better than Kevin Drew’s as well. :-)

See, after I let it sink in, I really loved the Kevin drew album so this is gonna have to go someway to better it.

And dammit, I can’t get the songs to play so I’m gonna have to wait til I get home to give any kind of opinion. Boo!

Why can’t they play? Is it on my side? They are playing for me… My images aren’t showing up though here at work…

Some proxys won’t let images show and music play because there are mp3’s on the site :)

I think they weren’t playing cause i was using the archaic computers at work.

Have listened now. Will be interested to see how they fit into the album as a whole, as they sound a little lightweight and safe on first couple of listens.

Richard, yeah you will have to hear the whole album because these couple of tracks really fit with my mood at the time but the rest of the album is quite different I think.

    Tara,
Glad you like them and that was the exact mood I was in :-)

I really, really like this album. But I still think Kevin Drew’s was better. But they are
    both great.
