New Buffalo helped take my Monday blues away…This Monday was not like most Monday’s as instead of waking up at the crack of dawn to go to work I had to wake up at the crack of dawn and serve Jury Duty…Oh my dear friends this was my first experience and oh how I wish it was my last. No one wanted to be there, I didn’t want to be there but alas all of us were summoned to the courts of hell to serve justice! Thank goodness it is over…Now I can rest assured I won’t get another Jury Summons for at least 12 months but after that I am fair game…Bastards.

It’s strange that I’ve never been called… I think it’s cause they’re saving my talents for the trial of the century. Time will tell…

Oh yeah! The music, well I shall listen to it as soon as I get home :)

HaHa the “trial of the century” I still think you haven’t been called because you move too often. ;-) hehe

I was called for jury duty once. My employer freaked because its a small business that runs on deadlines, so she wrote a note to the court saying that I was indispensable and that my absence would irreparably harm her business.

So I took the opportunity to ask her for a raise.

“Shut up or you’ll be out on the street,” she said without missing a beat.

Oh well, it did get me out of jury duty.

HAHA you and your boss crack me up…good shot going for that raze though! Maybe someday you will get a raze and I will be important enough to get out of Jury duty. ;-)

Jury duty in LA was quite horrible, at least when I did it years ago, because you actually have to go to the courthouse and sit there for days, waiting around. On the other hand, if you get on a case, it’s quite interesting, even if it’s just the case of the week, and not the century. :)

You know I am with you Celera, I find it quite interesting indeed but I don’t find waiting around interesting for no reason, which is what happened to me after my one and only panel was called and I wasn’t picked to be on a jury I ended up waiting around for 3 hours when they knew they were not going to call anymore panels. That was lame.
