Last week I went to see John Vanderslice do a free in-store at Fingerprints and I was quite taken by John’s enthusiasm I felt compelled to share a couple tracks off his new album Emerald City.

Sorry I have not been around I have been kind of busy and I had some PC issues. I am very happy to say that today will be my first day of work at my favorite record store Fingerprints! Yeah! I know it is very High Fidelity… I will let you know how it goes when I return.

Good luck with the job. I’m having a lot of fun imagining you as a female Jack Black, brow-beating customers into suitable music selections…although somehow I don’t think that’s going to be quite your style, is it?

Break a leg, as they say in show business.

Ehhh I can’t say I am all that enthusiastic guys…I kind of feel like I have gone backwards a bit and that is never a good feeling…Don’t know what to do really and I can see it has already affected the blog as I am now completely unmotivated to update…Back to the drawing board I suppose.

I can’t imagine you as any version of Jack Black. Well, I can. That’s it. Now I’m creeped out.

    :)

Anyway, the job sounds fun. And a step backwards doesn’t matter when you are still finishing school. Anything that brings in a little cash between classes is good. Don’t stop posting!
