Help Me!

Ok so I picked up this track on some record label’s site and I didn’t realize that the file had no information in it except for the song title, which is Listened On. What the hell? Who does this? Who puts a song up and doesn’t label it with all the correct information? Especially a record label at that?

Anyways I am calling out for help, who the hell is this band? Who makes this song? It has been driving me insane! HELP S.O.S!

You’ve happened across “Listened On”, which is by Lightning Dust on their self-titled LP. It was put out by Jagjaguwar fairly recently (June 19th).

Well that was quick… I say we put out our army of fact-checkers on matt. and see if he’s right. If he’s wrong… oh, baby… don’t be wrong… *puts up dukes*

Sweet! That sounds about right and I do remember checking out Lightening Dust at one point and we all know I am no stranger to Jagjaguwar. Thanks Matt that was lightening speed (no pun intended) I wish I had some sort of prize for you… ;-)

isn’t it amazing how quickly people figure things out? : )

i’ve not come across this kind of mistake by labels yet, but publicists will very often link to the wrong song or not put the proper info on their id tags. it’s very time consuming to back track and try to figure out where the hell you found something sometimes.

    it’s a nice song, btw.
