Why does change come on like a freight train? Is it so you can’t hesitate? You just take it on and hope for the best? Change sucks, it’s mean and heartless and it sucks! Change says, “Ok this, this and this is going to happen but you have to do this and this” And my “this” is like so much harder than the “this” Change is responsible for. Am I making sense?
And I’m so stuck, knowing what I have to do but having a difficult time following it through…

Anyways…

Rich turned me on to the music of Warm in the Wake and their new EP Gold Dust Trail, so everyone say, “Thank you Rich!” and go check out his fantastic site Cable & Tweed.

Warm in the Wake sum up their sound best on their bio/history page of their website, “simple American songs that have been gently thrown into the space rock realm.” Ahhh yes simple yet wonderful. The perfect soundtrack for this rainy Friday. Enjoy!

Ah, glad you like. Another in my pile of things to write about soon. Heh.

This is gorgeous music. Thanks Rachel and Rich! :) Change: in a similar place myself… I have a job interview next month that would involve significant changes to my life and those around me. I’m trying very hard to contain my fear / excitement. It is not easy though… I think the secret is to try and at least pretend to be in some sort of ‘control’ so that your destiny is shaped by you, mostly… good luck.xx
