I needed this…To wash off this day with some haunting acoustic melodies that seep in and take me far away…I kind of feel like no matter what I do, no matter how hard I work or how much effort, heart or will I put forth ends up not making a bit of difference…You ever get that feeling?

It is hard for me to accept failure, mistakes, errors…But what really bothers me is when you put forth so much effort and then something goes wrong that is out of your control and yet somehow all fingers are pointing at you…

*sigh*

Kranky is my new favorite label…Mat Sweet is the one behind Boduf Songs, from Southhampton England and he was immediately snatched up by Kranky after they heard the self titled demo he put together himself. This fall Lion Devours the Sun was released on Kranky…It is quite wonderful really, dark acoustic melodies matched with Sweet’s soft raspy vocals.

Oh dear. Sounds like a wretched day – it too shall pass.

I get that feeling too – but you do make a difference, to us armadillos, at the very least!!

Now drift off to sleep to that lovely, lovely music you posted.

Word verification is “ibllky,” which I think describes well your mood.

But it’s not your fault… unless you’re talking about posting amazing tunes. Stop it. Jesus.

FiL, thanks, you all mean everything to me! And you always get the best verification words…

    drainpip, :-P
    hehe

See look my own verification word:
    “akfmsams”

But don’t you know? AKFMSAMS stands for “Association of Kansas Firefighters and Metallurgists Supporting Armadillo Migration and Spread”. A small, but very influential special interest group that has done much to further the cause of us scaly, armoured beasties…

    Haha that was hilarious…

You should write something, anything and then send it off to be published…Seriously.

    Look at this…

I downloaded these tracks a wee while ago and they are just wonderful – really sinking in. This is on my shopping list. And I’m investigating the label a bit more as well. Thanks!

I get that feeling. And when I do I now just play music. I used to want to jump from a window etc but I’ve learned to adjust to my crapness and my mistakes. I drown them out with sound.

I think it doesn’t help being winter. This season just seems to amplify all the shit and make it worse. But it’ll pass. it always does and in hindsight nothing’s that important.

At least, it’s winter here. Not sure about where you are.

Anyway, theer are more important things to be getting on with … such as, what organisation is this – HFBXKO?

Oh, lving the music. Very haunting! Thank yee!

HFBXKO = “Honourable Friends of Bulgarian Xylophonic Karaoke Opera.” They work fearlessly on a shoestring budget to preserve this ancient, fast-disappearing art form.
