The London based band Emma McGlynn & The Monorails have just released their second album entitled The Murder Set. Old guitars and soulful beats are matched with beautiful melodies and lovely vocals.

After some technical difficulties Contrast Podcast #28 – Happy! Happy! Joy! Joy! is up.
I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed this weeks CP, it was really awesome. It was great to hear from two new contributors who kick ass: mjrc over at lost in your inbox and Mentok over at Mentok the Mind-taker. So go check out all the delightful tunes that will definitely put a smile on your face. :)

    hey, thanks for the shout out! i enjoyed hearing from lyle, aka mentok-the-mind-taker, too. fun stuff, that podcast. i highly recommend it. : )

    Pinnie was duly noted. I was tickled pink and all giggly. I always love your selections but this time I do believe you out did yourself as I adore The Magnetic Fields

    As for next weeks contribution? I am about an hour away from my “decision deadline”
    I had to give myself a cut off because…Well as you know I am not the most decisive of people. :)

    this is my second visit here and i think that “my war” is one of the best songs i have heard in a long time. ill be hiding in the shadows around here.
