Although I certainly didn’t listen to Oingo Boingo in 1985 (I was rocking out to Sesame Street then) But I grew up and refined my taste you could say…For me nothing says Halloween like Oingo Boingo, I love these two tracks…There are some things which will never change.

Sorry quick Halloween post for you I am afraid, end of the month deadlines and clients who have waited until the very last possible day to submit their shit are keeping me quite busy…If I die from being over-worked I will haunt them…Sweet revenge. ;)

But when your done listening to Oingo Boingo why not head over to the Contrast Podcast and see what the other Armadillos chose for this weeks Contrast Podcast #31 “Music to watch ghouls by” suggested by my favorite Armadillo FiL HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

I’m a hug fan of Oingo Boingo, though admitted I didn’t originally jump on the boat until their final studio album, which came out just over a year before they broke up. As lore goes, they supposedly HATE “Weird Science,” as it was a song they just kinda farted out and had rushed onto the soundtrack before they’d really put the finishing touches on it. If you want to see them at their best, check out the CD or DVD of their final concert from Halloween of ’95; they blow the roof off the L.A. Coliseum.

Thanks for the nice words – of course you know the feeling’s mutual!

And as for Oingo Boingo, goodness, that brings back memories of awkward high-school days…

Ouch, I just had a flashback of myself with a Duran Duran hairdo, like in those Diet Pepsi commercials.

FiL, you mean you don’t want to reminisce about the hellish social nightmare known as high-school? I can’t imagine why not. ;)

Mentok, dude you must have a picture in some album of you and your stylish do…Give it up!

mjrc, you crack me up too! Hopefully I will get a second to breathe before #32 fills up.

If you were to die from over-work I would be very sad indeed (for at least one month and then I would exact my revenge in a ‘dish best served cold’ kind of way. Cunning. I’d be very cunning. And brutal. They’d regret their exploitative practices.
