First off, I have to take a moment to stop and applaud the name…Sol Seppy! That is the best name ever! Sophie who is well…everything that makes up Sol Seppy, born in England she seems to have been given a gift in regards to music…She has done some work with Sparklehorse.

She is lovely and this is a solid album, you can play these 12 tracks all the way through, which is rare…So tonight 2 stand out tracks from The Bells of 1 2…Enjoy, good night…

Sol Seppy, Injoy (mp3 expired)

Sol Seppy, Enter One (mp3 expired)

[highly recommended]

Buy The Bells of 1 2

Also do take a moment to stop by the Contrast Podcast, Tim should be posting #23 any moment now. This weeks theme is “What” so all submissions, including mine (yes I take part this week) have to have the word “what” in the title. So do stop by if not to poke fun of my introduction but to hear some pretty cool music.

Wonderfully haunting piano and whispery vocals. I love it. In places very This Mortal Coil / 4AD sounding (though Sol Seppy are a little more ‘organic’ sounding, possibly?)

But all this talk of Sol Seppy is not quite as engaging or interesting as your Contrast Podcast #23 introduction though :)

Good to hear your voice again.

And you are right, some excellent tracks picked for Tim’s latest venture…

I like how you refer to Sol Seppy as Sol Sleepy. I guess we know what was on your mind.

You still have it as Sol Seepy instead of Sol Seppy but I guess baby steps. :D

Ok ummm I am out of it, I guess I want it to be Sol Seepy, not sure why I want it this way…

    My apologies everyone…

Now, I will go beat myself up for a bit and then move on. Once again I am reminded that I am not perfect.
