I was watching SYTYCD tonight and Lykke Li came on and I was reminded of how much I liked a few of the songs off her 2008 album, although the album as a whole didn’t speak to me she still is unique and awesome.

Her voice has such a consistent ethereal feel to it I’m almost stunned to hear the fragile-sounding introduction to this song. Probably what won me over were the piano chords, steady beats and generally monosyllablic lyrics that maintained the rhythm in an otherwise light- and feathery-sounding song.
Plus — the chorus tugs me so!
