Clean Slate
So I was really naughty this weekend and didn’t do any work to my computer. My plan was that I would work on it on Sunday but I was so tired from the night before (went to a fancy wedding and had too much champagne) that I totally vegged all day and did nothing of any substance.
Anyways I am backing up all the goods tonight and will be wiping the slate clean tomorrow. I will be back with new music either tomorrow night or Wednesday night. Antony and The Johnsons and much more soon to come. I do apologize for being such a lazy ass, but I do appreciate that you guys still love me!
I just hope I have everything backed up and nothing goes terribly wrong… Such a pain in the ass but this is long over due. My laptop keeps crashing every time I post and it is just ridiculous. Hopefully all of this will be solved. Good night

Are you doing the whole “back up all of my files and start listening to only new music for (some set amount of time) thing?”
I am thinking of doing something similar.
As of right now I am not listening to anything because iTunes is taking forever and a day to add all my music back into it. So basically yeah I will only be listening to music for quite some time. :-)
I am thinking of just doing away with iTunes all together and just using Songbird I find iTunes slows down my system too much… Does anyone else have a similar issue?
Hi Rachel…iTunes and Quicktime install some invasive deal called Bonjour service, which is useful if you want to share music, or stream your music thru a SSL tunnel. Also, it has a nasty habit of breaking internet connections when uninstalled. I had it briefly on my computer at home, and it did seem to be a resource hog. In short, stick with Songbird.
By the way, check this out (unrelated to above post, but you are gonna get me!)
