Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings
Oh my, oh my Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings have more soul in one of their little pinky fingers then I do in my entire body. But listening to their new album 100 Days, 100 Nights certainly makes me want to get on my knees and thank the sweet lord for blessing me with the music of Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings.
Their new album is filled with some of the greatest R&B Soul I have heard in a long time, not since Ray Charles and the entire album is that good. Timeless.

Mmmm… she brings the black out in me. I will be blaring this album out of the windows of my car directly.
Oh, I didn’t expect to see this genre here — more soul music please! :)
oh GAWD
let me roll naked in her ample bosom while she strokes my hair and sings to me.
THIS IS AWESOME.
how’d you find?
are they new?
That image is going to be with me until the end of days. And yeah it came out in September, group has a little bio on the record label site, check it out and buy some soul.
Well they have been around for a few years but this album came out in October of this year. How did I find it? By listening, the way I find all the music that I post. Glad you like it Tara :-)
by listening…….yes i KNOW.
but where were you listening? this isnt your typical stuff. :)
This is a great CD. I love that classic soul sound.
I know it is not my typical stuff but I am trying to diversify my music suggestions and my collection.
Lovelyn, I agree the classic soul is fabulous. Can’t get much better than this. :-)
