I seemed to have made a wrong turn today and ended up in a dark distant place, but that is really not the reason I come here tonight…I come here tonight to dedicate a song to someone who has been gone far too long and I honestly didn’t think I would miss his presence as much as I have for the last month? It seems like it has been far too long without you Colin ( Let’s kiss and make up… ) I miss you, hurry home.

The following selection is dedicated to you, a cover of Will Oldham’s, I See A Darkness
Steve Adey evokes more emotion into this song then previously thought possible, his new album, is out now on Grand Harmonium Records, All Things Real

Good night.

Hear hear, I’ve been muchly missing Our Mutual Scottish Friend as well. Maybe he’ll come back if we dance that brand new Scottish country reel I only just made up not thirty seconds ago, ‘The Armadillo of Arisaig.’

Perhaps Coxon could do the bagpipe honours??

Now, I’ve got to hear this reel… :) So, if you play it I’ll dance The Gay Gordons for you :)… Thank you FiL, thank you Rachel. Great choice of album and track – an Englishman in Edinburgh, being The Blue Nile (in a very, very good way). I do love that song – both versions. And thanks for the kind words too. They meant a lot. Sorry I was so far away for so long. But, I have returned and I’m back on blogging duty :) (oh please… don’t all groan at once!!)

Colin, I am nothing but smiles right now…I also knew Fil missed you as much as I.

Cheers to you both! I am so excited. :)

    Hey the gang’s all here.

I feel so late to this party.

But damn, I left my bagpipes on the train … the dog ate them … er … they’re at the dry cleaners …

Oh and loving the song Rachel. Not quite as good as B ‘P’ B but few things in life are.
