The Kooks with Clogs

I must give fair warning this is one of those emotional roller coaster kind of posts…Because The Kooks are a rare breed to begin with, not many bands can pull off their broad spectrum of sound. But they do a damn good job. Although they are not brand new (especially to friends in the UK (Hi Guys!)) they are what I am feeling at the moment…
Then last night I was typing up this entire post with the music of the Clogs…But I got into this whole thing about the film an inconvenient truth, which I saw last weekend. But I just felt like I got too preachy so I scratched it and just posted it as my current film pick. I immediately thought the Clogs would accompany any mention of this film, I don’t know why, I guess it is just what I am feeling ;)
Anyways more later…For now I leave you with the selections…

Except I should have just waited to post because it was all out of sync…The feelings and all and then posting the music later just doesn’t jive right.

Actually, I blame that first Kooks track – there’s definitely an element of funk there that’s probably responsible.

and now i can’t remember what that word was.
so bad, it’s been blanked from my memory… obviously.
Clogs is an instant hit… wonderful music… Kooks I’ve still got to warm too… but I can feel the heat rising… think this album is a bit of a ‘grower’. Will have all four tracks on meh-pod and ensure they dig deep into my ears, heart, brain… Clogs made it onto the every-growing ‘list to buy’… x
